About the role
- Senior IT Consultant contributing to critical infrastructure projects in Munich. Responsible for client consultation and project management in IT consulting sector.
Responsibilities
- Advise our clients on IT-related applications, methods, technologies, and solutions
- Independently design and specify IT systems (focus on domain applications in the infrastructure sector)
- Requirements engineering — specification and management of functional and technical requirements
- Preparation of requirements specifications and support of procurement/tender processes for clients during the planning phase
- Support client projects in a supervisory and quality-assurance role during the implementation phase
- Assist clients with project execution as a technical project manager
- Manage projects independently and actively contribute to project acquisition
Requirements
- Completed technical university degree (university or university of applied sciences), preferably in computer science
- At least 3 years of relevant IT project experience, ideally in an IT consulting environment
- Strong technical and organizational understanding of IT-related processes
- Know-how in requirements engineering and/or test management
- Experience in project management in a lead or supporting role
- Preferably experience applying various software development methodologies (e.g., V-Modell XT, SCRUM)
- Professional demeanor, analytical approach, and a strong 'big-picture' perspective
- Independent and proactive working style with a goal- and results-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication skills (moderation, presentation, mediation)
- Very good German and good English skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally
