Financial Advisor Manager responsible for managing Financial Advisors and driving Mass Affluent sales at TD Wealth. Oversee hiring, training, and revenue generation in New York/New Jersey region.
Responsibilities
Responsible for directly managing a team of Financial Advisors
Hire, onboard, and supervise Financial Advisors in an assigned market/territory
Recruit, train, coach, and mentor Financial Advisors
Provide advice through planning and distribution of Mass Affluent products
Create positive relationships with Partners to drive referral activities
Increase Mass Affluent product sales productivity through coaching and planning
Manage territory and align Store coverage to meet needs
Develop strong relationships with Wealth and Retail partners
Directly accountable for assigned Mass Affluent revenue and Wealth/brokerage referral goals
Participate in community and business development activities
Monitor and manage expenditures and prepare financial reports.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
7 - 10+ years related experience
Required Licenses: Life/Health, Series 65, 7 and 24
Excellent communication skills
Proven managerial skills
Previous sales/leadership experience
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Demonstrated experience performing complex financial, statistical and budgetary analyses, preferably in the banking industry.
Ability to travel within assigned Market; about 75% of time
Driver’s License required.
