- Support and maintain current network infrastructure
- Provide firewall SME escalation support for the Network Operations Center
- Execute complex upgrades and implementations following internal change control
- Identify opportunities for automation, cost savings and service quality improvements
- Collaborate with global operations teams to enhance current processes
- Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management & Capacity Management
- Provide Root Cause Analysis for Network Events
- Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- 8 years extensive experience in the support of Networking Security Technologies
- Strong technical decision making skills
- Experience in escalation management
- Expertise in the security of enterprise networks
- Expert knowledge and hands on experience with Palo Alto Firewall technology and Panorama
- Broad experience in Firewalls, IPS/IDS, and Threat Prevention
- Advanced level Understanding of OSPF, BGP, VPLS and MPLS
- Expert knowledge and in-depth experience to troubleshoot all layers of the OSI model
- Experience with NX-OS, IOS, SD-WAN, PANOS, or FTD
- In-depth experience with security best practices including risk remediations of firewall rules
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Able multitask and apply technology expertise to ensure deadlines are met
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Current CCNP or equivalent certification
- ITIL Ver. 3.0 or Ver. 4.0
