Controller supporting analytics and financial reporting in the Automotive division of HARMAN. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and implementing process improvements to enhance financial performance.
Responsibilities
Ensure preparation and completion of standard presentations for monthly Management meetings
Be proficient in Business Warehouse for reporting and analysis of Revenue & CM
Continuously partner with cross-functional departments to understand variance analysis and to obtain insight into future trends
Research and implement process improvement initiatives with support from cross-functional teams (eg, 3rd party brand license reporting)
Assist with New Business Award validation within Salesforce
Review/monitor Amplify measures
Work with the Product Team to create or update IP Fee business cases
Ad hoc requests
Requirements
Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or other equivalent experience
5+ years of relevant experience
Proficient in English skills, written and spoken
An understanding of project-related Accounting and GL P&L
Experience in tracking measures
Ability to clarify financial concepts towards a non-controlling audience
Advanced Excel knowledge
Proven ability to interface and connect outside immediate function
SAP and BW knowledge is preferred
Experience with information warehouse systems (Power-BI, Tableau, Qlik – report preparation side)
