About the role
- Product Owner overseeing Oracle-related IT projects at SysMap. Leading project from initiation to go-live while ensuring stakeholder satisfaction and adherence to practices.
Responsibilities
- Stakeholder management (acting as the focal point between areas);
- Plan and lead the project end-to-end (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closure);
- Act as the focal point between business areas, internal IT, consulting firms, Oracle and other vendors;
- Define detailed schedule, milestones, dependencies and critical path;
- Manage scope, risks, costs, changes and communication with stakeholders;
- Coordinate version upgrades, data migrations, module integrations, testing and go-live;
- Plan testing phases, cutover and go-live activities;
- Ensure adherence to cloud project best practices, security, compliance and governance, and project management methodology;
- Prepare executive and operational status reports;
- Support the transition to operations (intensive support post go-live).
Requirements
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager;
- Experience in version upgrade projects and cloud migrations;
- Knowledge of Oracle Database and integrations with legacy systems;
- Experience managing vendors, contracts and SLAs;
- Strong background in Oracle Retail (RMS, ReSA, RPM, Merchandising or related modules);
- Certification in PMP, Prince2, PMI-ACP or similar;
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI);
- Experience in retail and large-scale projects;
- Oracle Database;
- Integrations via APIs, messaging systems, and batch files.
