About the role
- Technical Operations Manager overseeing building services across North and South America. Driving operational excellence and compliance while collaborating with regional teams.
Responsibilities
- Plan and track maintenance delivery across the portfolio
- Ensure operational reliability of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems
- Drive technical and regulatory compliance by supporting Location Operations Managers
- Manage high-risk work including shutdowns and business-critical interventions
- Own asset and maintenance data governance in the IWMS/Asset & Maintenance Management platform
- Coordinate building IoT/OT operations including BMS controls
- Support digital monitoring initiatives that improve reliability
- Provide operations expertise to projects throughout all phases
- Maintain accurate system documentation including operating manuals and system logs
- Lead incident troubleshooting with structured approaches
Requirements
- 8+ years in multi-site technical operations, facilities engineering, or building infrastructure management
- Strong working knowledge of MEP systems and critical infrastructure
- Provider and contract management experience, including SLA/KPI-based performance governance
- Strong discipline in documentation, internal controls, and audit readiness
- Ability to influence stakeholders in a matrix environment as a clear, pragmatic communicator
- Fluent English (additional regional languages are a plus)
