About the role
- Training Consultant enhancing skills for medical staff at Sutter Health. Developing and revising training programs, policies, and performing clinical duties as needed.
Responsibilities
- Oversees, coordinates, and provides classroom/online training to enhance the skill level of the unit
- Develops and revises policies and procedures as well as assists in the maintenance of educational and competency records
- Serves as a preceptor for diagnostic imaging students on rotation
- Functions as Diagnostic Imaging staff to maintain clinical skills and contribute to the performance and efficiency of the department
Requirements
- Bachelor in Nursing, Business or Healthcare Administration or related field
- 8 years recent relevant experience
- Working knowledge of cms, cdph, tjc and institute of medical quality (imq) accreditation standards and licensing requirements
- Working knowledge of healthcare delivery, clinical care coordination, and quality improvement/management methodologies
- Ability to define issues, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Critical thinking and analytical skills with a keen attention to details
- Ability to influence others by persuasion and problem solving to achieve desired outcome
- Collaboration skills to facilitate open sharing of information and cooperation with various stakeholders
- Ability to communicate through verbal and written means, and to present information to a variety of audiences
