Responsibilities
Support feature design by working on tasks owned by Senior or Regular Designers
Help with game balancing (units, costs, rewards) using spreadsheets, playtests, and data
Create and maintain clear design documentation (mechanics, edge cases, tooltips)
Learn from live games by analyzing player feedback, metrics, and in-game behavior
Collaborate with Tech, Art, QA, and UI/UX to bring features to life
Playtest regularly, identify issues, and suggest improvements
Grow your design skills through hands-on work, mentorship, and feedback
Take initiative within your scope by spotting improvements and contributing ideas
Requirements
A strong passion for strategy games, especially complex or long-term systems
Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset
High attention to detail in design, balancing, and documentation
Comfort working with spreadsheets
Curiosity, self-motivation, and eagerness to learn and improve
Nice to Have: A portfolio with projects, mods, prototypes, or game jam work
Experience with free-to-play games, progression systems, or live operations
