About the role
- Localization Coordinator supporting translation project coordination and execution within a gaming company. Engaging in multiple localization processes and improving workflows associated with translation tasks.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end translation requests and deliveries.
- Prioritize tasks, assign resources (internal/external), and track progress.
- Prepare and review source files for localization.
- Manage translation queries, update style guides, glossaries, and reference materials.
- Investigate and resolve translation issues/bugs.
- Contribute to localization tools and workflow improvements.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in localization, with demonstrable project coordination or project management responsibilities.
- Proficiency in MemoQ.
- Working knowledge of Jira for task management and bug tracking.
- Fluency in English.
- Fluency in one or more additional Star Stable languages.
- Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite).
- Bonus if you have University degree in translation, linguistics, communication, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a translator.
- Experience working with Gridly.
- Prior experience in localization coordination within the gaming industry.
- A genuine interest in and knowledge of our game
