About the role

  • Clinical Specialist in Wound Care working with healthcare professionals to provide training, support, and expertise in NSW. Engaging with clinicians and developing tailored in-service programs to enhance best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the business as a Subject Matter Expert in Wound Care, delivering product application and clinical evidence training to customers across hospitals and health services throughout NSW.
  • Collaborate with the broader team to develop tailored training content and in-service programs, leveraging globally approved materials adapted to local needs.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of product champions and clinical influencers.
  • Partner with Marketing and Medical Affairs to grow and strengthen the local Key Opinion Leader (KOL) network.
  • Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and professional associations to stay current with Wound Care trends and innovations.
  • Translate insights into actionable clinical strategies.
  • Provide clinical advisory support to customers and internal sales teams on products within the specialty.
  • Contribute to protecting existing business and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams through joint customer visits, presentations, and engagements to deliver tailored clinical content and ensure consistent, evidence-based messaging to healthcare professionals (e.g., nurses and surgeons).
  • Partner closely with Territory Managers to drive business growth, leveraging clinical expertise to support customer engagement, identify new opportunities, and contribute to the successful execution of territory strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  • Relevant experience in Wound Care and/or Surgical Nursing, Operating Theatre, or the Medical Device industry
  • Positive, proactive attitude with a passion for supporting clinical best practice.
  • Strong communicator who enjoys educating and engaging with clinicians.
  • Builds trusted relationships with ease and collaborates well with others.
  • Adaptable and comfortable in dynamic hospital environments.
  • Self‑motivated, curious, and eager to learn and grow.
