Content Marketeer crafting engaging narratives in energy management and EV charging to support Smappee’s commercial growth, driving innovation for sustainability.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute Smappee’s content strategy across markets and customer segments.
Build and maintain a structured content plan and editorial calendar.
Create compelling and accurate content for blogs, newsletters, product pages and to a lesser extent for social media.
Translate complex technical topics—such as energy monitoring, EV charging, and automation into accessible language.
Coordinate creative assets, translations, and localization with internal and external partners.
Monitor content performance, track SEO and engagement metrics, and optimize based on insights.
Collaborate with stakeholders across product, sales, R&D, and marketing to gather input and deliver publishable content.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in content marketing, ideally in technical or complex industries.
Strong writing and editing skills, with a clear strength in long-form content such as blogs, articles, and in-depth storytelling.
Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and accurately.
Experience with SEO, keyword research, and content performance analytics.
Experience working with customer journeys and identifying content gaps.
Fluent in English (Dutch or French are strong assets).
Experience with Craft CMS, HubSpot, or AI/LLM tools is a plus.
Curious, proactive, hands-on, and a collaborative team player.
