About the role
- People Associate providing HR support across the full employee lifecycle for the Africa team at Sistema.bio in Nairobi. Engaging with employees and managing HR documentation in a hybrid role.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operational HR support across the full employee lifecycle for the Africa team
- Ensure high-quality administration, timely services to employees and managers, and reliable and accurate data and documentation
- Maintain employee records, run HR audits, prepare monthly people analytics reports, and manage health & safety documentation and training logs
- Post jobs, coordinate interviews, prepare contracts and onboarding packs, and track new hire feedback for continuous improvement
- Handle day-to-day staff HR queries, assist with disciplinary and grievance processes, and drive policy awareness across the team
- Plan and execute employee engagement events and support wellness initiatives across Africa
- Support in coordinating training and learning programmes, track participation, measure effectiveness, and support the continuous development of staff across the Africa team
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Management, HR, or any relevant field
- Be an IHRM member
- 2 years of experience in HR or relevant experience
- Excellent Communication Skills and customer service orientation when interacting with employees and other stakeholders
- Fluent in English
