About the role
- Part-time accounting support at scanmetrix, developing ERP and CAFM software for facility management. Managing ongoing accounting and payroll processes with a focus on teamwork and innovative tools.
Responsibilities
- Ongoing accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger)
- Reviewing, coding and posting incoming and outgoing invoices
- Bank and cash transactions and account reconciliations
- Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
- Preparing documents for the tax advisor
- Processing travel and expense reports
- Maintaining and improving internal accounting processes
- Optional - Payroll: Preparing and processing monthly payroll
- Maintaining employee master data
- Communicating with health insurers, authorities and the tax advisor
- Supporting payroll-related personnel accounting inquiries
Requirements
- Completed commercial/vocational training, further qualification in accounting or equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience in financial accounting
- Proficient with DATEV (FiBu, Mittelstand Faktura)
- Structured, independent and reliable working style
- Discretion and a strong sense of responsibility when handling sensitive data
- Good German language skills, both written and spoken
- Nice to have: Experience in payroll accounting
- Experience with digital, paperless accounting processes
- Experience in start-ups, SMEs or fast-growing companies
