About the role
- GPU RTL Design Engineer focused on driving RTL design for mobile market GPUs. Collaborate on architecture and implementation in high-performance computing devices at Samsung.
Responsibilities
- work as part of a GPU IP Design (Texture) team
- drive the RTL design of various sub-blocks for a GPU targeted to mobile market
- engage with other architects within the IP and at the SoC level to drive the architectural definition
- partner with the physical design team to resolve implementation level details
- work closely with design verification to test plan and ensure proper functionality
- collaborate with engineers in other geographies on requirements and implementation
- deliver quality micro-architectural level documentation
- produce quality RTL on schedule meeting PPA goals
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/relevant technical field, or a Master’s degree
- Experience driving the RTL design of various digital sub-blocks of GPU /CPU high performance digital designs
- Demonstrated experience of successful Architectural through RTL design experience on high performance digital designs
- Computer graphics and computer architecture background
- Low Power Design experience is a plus
