About the role

Data Analyst role responsible for business intelligence and modeling. Position based in Recife, Brazil promoting data culture and governance across business units.

Responsibilities

Gather and understand requirements with business areas, translating requests into indicators, metrics and success criteria.
Define and maintain KPIs aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
Model analytical data (dimensional modeling, star schema, semantic layer, SCD and granularity).
Build, maintain and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring data quality, reliability and traceability.
Develop executive and operational dashboards and reports, ensuring clarity, performance and governance.
Perform diagnostic and predictive analyses (trends, seasonality, cohort, churn, pricing and productivity).
Integrate data from multiple sources (ERPs, CRMs, spreadsheets and APIs).
Ensure data governance best practices, including documentation, data dictionary, versioning and access controls.
Monitor data update and quality SLAs, proposing continuous improvements.
Act in a consultative manner with business areas, prioritizing requests according to business impact and technical effort.
Promote a data-driven culture and self-service BI, supporting users with guidance and ad-hoc training.

Advanced SQL proficiency (T-SQL, PostgreSQL or MySQL), including complex queries, CTEs, views and performance optimization.
Experience with Business Intelligence tools, preferably Power BI (DAX, Power Query and tabular modeling) or equivalents.
Experience with ETL/ELT processes (Power Query, SSIS, Azure Data Factory or similar).
Solid knowledge of data modeling for analytical environments.
Application of data governance best practices, version control (Git) and documentation.
Advanced Excel for analysis, validations and business support.
Knowledge of Python (pandas) for automation and analysis.
Experience integrating with ERPs and consuming APIs.
Knowledge of Data Warehousing and information security applied to analytical data (LGPD).
Experience in OKR-driven environments and management by metrics.
