About the role
- Respiratory Therapist assisting occasional Veteran's Clinics in Lebanon, NH. Flexible schedule with PRN position for respiratory care responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Assessing, monitoring, and treating patients with respiratory conditions.
- Conducting diagnostic tests and providing appropriate respiratory therapies.
- Collaborating with healthcare teams.
- Ensuring patient safety and care during procedures.
Requirements
- Licensure: Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- Certification: Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and/or Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT) preferred.
- Also excepted: AARC Office Spirometry Certificate
- Experience: Experience in performing spirometry testing.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of respiratory equipment and medications
