About the role
- SIOP Project Data Governance Lead driving data governance framework within Rolls-Royce. Responsible for ensuring data processes and risks are managed effectively in a compliance-driven program.
Responsibilities
- Take the lead in implementing and enforcing data governance standards within the program
- Maintain communication with key stakeholders to ensure the program’s scope and priorities are aligned with the global data strategy
- Design, document, and manage robust data processes for the project that align with global management standards
- Act as the primary collaborator for data owners and stewards, ensuring all data-related risks and issues are identified and resolved
- Apply strong project management skills to drive governance initiatives from initial concept to full completion
- Translate complex data requirements into clear, actionable priorities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or business with extensive working with data
- Experience in a compliance/regulated industry
- Experience with driving data governance
- Project management skills, driving to projects to completion
- Good analytical skills
- Experience writing data processes
- Must be a UK National eligible and willing to travel to the United States
