Responsibilities
Collaborate with content creators, copywriters, agencies, and editors to produce high-quality, SEO-friendly content that resonates with the target audience and meets industry standards.
Implement content briefs, style guides, and optimization guidelines to ensure consistency and effectiveness across all content pieces.
Conduct comprehensive audits of existing content to identify optimization opportunities, including keyword targeting, meta tags, internal linking, and multimedia integration.
Implement on-page and off-page SEO best practices to improve existing and new content assets' visibility, relevance, and engagement metrics.
Identify high-quality websites from multiple 3rd-party agencies relevant to our industry for potential linkbuilding opportunities.
Engage with 3rd party agencies on linkbuilding activities on a daily basis (article approvals, deadline reminders).
Monitor and manage our backlink profile via 3rd party tracking tools to ensure it remains healthy and free from toxic or spammy links.
Thinking outside the box when it comes to finding new and innovative ways to acquire great links outside the existing methods we use
Using internal outreach processes to prospect and procure high-value links directly
Ensure our website has a healthy technical setup by optimizing website structure, navigation, and internal linking.
Implement technical optimizations such as schema markup, rich snippets, and meta tags to provide search engines with relevant information about our content.
Monitor and address any technical issues, such as crawl errors and security vulnerabilities, to maintain a secure and accessible website.
Ensure we have all the necessary prerequisites to get mentions in LLMs
Contribute towards our overall GEO strategy for all locales we operate in
Contribute towards developing and maintaining internal AI optimizations and workflows that streamline our day-to-day operations
Contribute towards the strategy and implementation of GEO best practices on all properties
Candidates based in Malta or Bitola, MK are expected to operate in a hybrid work arrangement. Applicants residing other locations may be considered for fully remote positions, working in alignment with the Central European Time (CET) zone.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in on-page and off-page SEO
Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and content optimization techniques.
Proficiency in SEO tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Majestic, AI Tools, MCPs, N8N or similar).
Proficiency in CMS management, especially WordPress
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a passion for staying ahead of industry trends and exploring new opportunities.
A sharp mind focused on exploring the developing world of GEO, LLM usage and AI automation.
Experience in the iGaming industry or with online casino platforms is a plus.
