Junior Social Media Manager for a dynamic social media team in Berlin. Engaging with audiences and supporting campaign success while working up to 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Assist with the daily management of social media platforms, including content scheduling, publishing posts, and monitoring comments and messages
Support the development and execution of engaging social media campaigns and initiatives
Research current social media trends, competitor activity, and platform updates to inform strategy development
Monitor and track social media performance metrics and assist in preparing regular reports
Contribute to content creation, including writing captions and Instagram Stories, selecting imagery, and ensuring brand consistency
Assist with editing short-form videos for IG Reels and TikTok
Coordinate with the creative team to ensure timely delivery of assets for social media use
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
Demonstrable passion for and knowledge of key social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Facebook)
Proficiency with CapCut for video editing is required
Experience with Canva and basic knowledge of Figma
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
Basic understanding of social media analytics and reporting tools
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
The following would be a plus: previous internships or professional experience in social media management or digital marketing
Italian and French language skills are an advantage
Experience with social media scheduling and monitoring tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Sprout Social)
Experience with basic photo/video editing tools or graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)
