About the role

Responsibilities
- Analyze software requirements and derive comprehensive test specifications
- Design and further develop test environments and oversee test design
- Create, execute and continuously optimize test cases
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., automotive standards) and quality requirements
- Prepare and review quality-assured test and defect reports (Polarion, Jira, Bitbucket)
- Work closely with software development and provide technical support in debugging and root cause analysis
Requirements
- Degree in Applied Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in software testing, preferably in the automotive or embedded domain
- Good German and English language skills
- Solid knowledge of bus systems such as CAN and network communication over Ethernet
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD methodologies and scripting languages such as Python
- Deep understanding of complex embedded systems and a methodical, structured working approach
