Requirements
- 12+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prior experience leading an Engineering Team
- Demonstrated deep hands-on expertise with enterprise-class data platforms and pipelines at scale
- Strong SQL skills with ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex queries
- Experience with both batch processing (Spark, Dataproc) and real-time/streaming systems (Kafka, Pub/Sub, Dataflow)
- Hands-on proficiency with Cloud data services. Preferably - BigQuery, Bigtable, Dataproc, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub
- Strong programming background in Python with ability to review code and guide technical decisions
- Solid understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and distributed systems
- 3+ years of demonstrated people management experience building and leading engineering teams
- Proven experience leading teams within a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Strong execution skills - track record of delivering complex projects through teams
- Experience with Agile methodologies, project planning, and estimation
