Responsibilities
- The candidate will have a proven and demonstrated ability to comfortably, confidently and conversationally communicate with interviewees and viewers.
- The ideal candidate will create enterprising and engaging content that meets CBS Sacramento’s mission of Getting Answers for our audiences on all platforms.
- The candidate must be able to report scripted and unscripted news and features in both live and recorded formats.
- It is crucial to guide viewers smoothly through accountability and solutions-oriented journalism, breaking news situations and feature stories with words and pictures.
Requirements
- Prior on-air reporting experience required.
- Strong writing skills and understanding of broadcast news and entertainment reporting techniques are essential.
- Multimedia Journalist experience required, including shooting, writing and editing vosots and packages.
- Experienced in live reporting.
- College degree or equivalent work experience.
