About the role

Responsibilities
- You build robust services and develop intelligent interfaces to LLMs
- You design and implement features based on Large Language Models and related NLP methods (e.g., RAG, vector databases, agent systems)
- You develop performant, secure, and scalable services in Next.js (API-first)
- You work closely with Product, Design, and Frontend to develop features
- You bring clean engineering practices into a startup environment
- You stay up to date with new AI approaches and integrate them hands‑on into the product
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience developing and operating modern web applications (Node.js, Next.js, TypeScript)
- Initial or deeper experience working with LLMs, conversational AI, RAG pipelines, or frameworks like LangChain
- Confident working with API design, databases (SQL/NoSQL/vector), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD
- You find simple solutions to complex problems and build systems that scale
- Team-player mentality: you enjoy working cross-functionally, are open to feedback, and are eager to take responsibility
- Fluent in German and very good English
