About the role
- Working Student role focusing on backend development using Java for osapiens' AI-driven HUB. Collaboration with a dynamic team in a hybrid work environment in Mannheim.
Responsibilities
- Develop backend features using modern Java
- Follow industry best practices by writing automated tests and documentation for your code
- Own features end-to-end: from implementation and testing to supporting the roll-out with clear release notes
- Option to work on the frontend as well (React)
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a university program (computer science or related fields)
- Eagerness to grow with us long-term
- First experience in software development with object-oriented programming languages such as Java
- Preferably first experiences with backend development, ideally with Spring Boot
- Understanding of API Development and NoSQL databases are a plus
- Strong interest in building reliable, secure and scalable software
- Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and take full ownership of your tasks
- High attention to detail and drive to deliver great work
