Senior IT Consultant advising clients on implementing cutting-edge solutions for operational efficiency. Collaborating with teams and managing IT projects in a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

Advising, implementing, and optimizing solutions for clients to ensure seamless digital transformation and operational success.
Leading IT projects end-to-end, ensuring they stay on track, on budget, and aligned with business goals, while keeping management and stakeholders informed throughout the process.
Understanding customer challenges and business needs, defining clear requirements, and ensuring processes are mapped effectively to solutions, documented in a clear business blueprint.
Breaking down project scope into actionable tasks, configuring systems to meet customer needs, and coordinating any necessary custom developments with the team.
Overseeing testing, including integration and user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure the system functions correctly before go-live.
Guiding customers through the go-live process, providing support during the transition, and ensuring smooth post-implementation stabilization.
Implementing solutions across both SAP and non-SAP environments, working with businesses of various sizes, industries, and global markets.

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Informatics, Project Management, or a comparable field, or equivalent professional experience.
Strong experience in IT Consulting and Project Management, preferably in the supply chain, logistics, or related industries.
Proven track record in managing complex IT projects and successfully delivering on time, within scope, and budget.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in maintenance, field service, or last-mile distribution; familiarity with SAP products is a plus.
Experience working with the latest technologies and best practices in IT solutions, with a focus on system integration and process optimization.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for engaging with cross-functional teams and clients.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
A positive and proactive attitude, with the ability to adapt to changing environments and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
Familiarity with agile project management methodologies and experience working in an agile environment.
Experience in SAP integration projects and deep knowledge of relevant SAP modules will be a strong advantage.
Strong understanding of project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project) and the ability to drive project governance and reporting processes.
Fluent in English (C1) and proficiency in German (B2).
