About the role
- Project Manager responsible for all aspects of engineering procurement projects. Delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Manage the supply and installation contracts
- Prepare and manage the schedule and budget
- Manage all project coordination with all stockholders within and outside of the company
- Manage the project execution including risk mitigation, safety protocols, and quality assurance
- Manage all commercial aspects of the supply and EPC projects
- Direct the project team as needed. Sign and approve PO, invoices, change orders and bank transfers
- Negotiate all contract with clients, contractors and suppliers
- Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Must have at least 5 years in the construction industry, 2 years in similar position
- BS degree required in technical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- The ability to assess situations and choose the best alternative including initiating these alternatives
- Directly manage personal, be able to create long term professional relationships with suppliers and contractors
- Must be able to read, write and speak English at a level which will permit the employee to accurately understand and communicate information to safely and efficiently perform the job duties
- Must possess at any time a valid driver’s license with a driving record acceptable to ORMAT auto insurance carrier
- Must be able to use and acquire knowledge of a variety of computer software application in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation.
- Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and use of the Internet
- Ability and willingness to travel and relocate if required
- Must be able to operate a vehicle in a safe manner
