About the role

  • QA Engineer working with Orion to develop next-generation products and solutions for the Retail Industry. Collaborating in a scrum team to enhance software quality and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Execute manual test software of HW/SW complex systems.
  • Identify and track software defects to closure.
  • Analyse logs and databases.
  • Build generic and customized setups.
  • Fast problems reproduction.
  • Define and maintain all pertinent SQA documents such as STP and STD.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in SQA.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Experience with Windows OS environment.
  • Experience with communication protocols.
  • Highly motivated to learn and succeed in QA role.
  • Good communication / people skills - to extract information from various interfaces (i.e., documentation, teammates, programmers, system architect, PLM, etc.).
  • Adaptable - to handle constant change of work scope and specifications.
  • Creative and analytical thinker - essential for good test planning and problem solving.
  • Professional-level English communication skills.
  • Previous knowledge of testing in AWS eco-system – significant advantage.
  • Experience with working Agile methodologies – significant advantage.
  • Good system understanding and analysis capabilities with previous proven experience testing full system, internal, and external APIs.
  • SQA certification, ITCB.
