About the role
- Bilingual Security Agent ensuring the safety of people and property for OPENLANE. Responsibilities include surveillance, access control, and customer service at the facility.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of people, the yard, and the buildings used by our facility
- Maintain the perimeter of the auction
- Verify access authorizations for staff, customers, carriers, and suppliers
- Conduct surveillance rounds and security patrols
- Inventory, record, and store personal belongings found in impounded vehicles
- Perform stock check-in/check-out using a handheld device as needed
- Consult AuctionTrac data for customers and direct them to the exact location of vehicles in the yard
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting dealers with various procedures and requests
Requirements
- BSP permit/license
- Experience in security
- Experience in customer service
- Bilingual in English and French
- Similar experience in the automotive industry
