• Intern position at Olympus contributing to Cybersecurity Quality Assurance projects. Collaborating with a Design Assurance Cybersecurity Engineer and gaining valuable experience in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to our mission by working on various projects under the supervision of a Design Assurance Cybersecurity Engineer.
• Executing cybersecurity design assurance activities and tasks such as: threat modeling, risk assessment, Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS).
• Exploring use cases and providing recommendations on how to automate test cases from cybersecurity baseline requirements.
• Creating metrics and KPIs on cybersecurity related issues (e.g. vulnerabilities) from post-market processes.
• Collaborating with your supervisor and team to complete role-related assignments and projects.
• Actively engaging in and adding value to meetings and discussions.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a full time undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited 4-year institution.
• Preferred fields of study include Computer Science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Must complete two (2) years of undergrad before the internship begins and graduate after the internship ends.
• Must not now or in the future require immigration-related sponsorship.
• Demonstrated ability to balance academic and extracurricular commitments (i.e. work experience, clubs, volunteer activities, teams, etc.).
• Basic engineering knowledge.
• Must possess excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Must be proficient and have practical knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Must be able to work well within a team and independently at times with limited guidance.
• Preferred: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and deadline-driven environment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize/execute multiple concurrent tasks.
• Strong, professional communication skills.
• Skilled in presentation development and public speaking.
• General curiosity and a desire to learn new material.
