About the role
- Analyst for Strategic Planning and Performance supporting cancer research initiatives at Ontario Institute for Cancer Research with data collection and reporting responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and reporting on progress towards the achievement of Strategic Plan goals
- Facilitating the collection, analysis and reporting of performance data
- Maintaining Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and post-award report components of OICR’s grants management system
- Supporting the development of reports for Executive, the Board of Directors and the Ministry
- Providing direct support for special projects within the Strategic Planning and Performance Department
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Statistics, Life Sciences, Data Science or related field, or recognized equivalent
- Strong data analysis and visualization skills
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Must be able to work independently to meet demanding timelines
- Highly effective interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated ability in project planning and management
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
