About the role

  • Analyst for Strategic Planning and Performance supporting cancer research initiatives at Ontario Institute for Cancer Research with data collection and reporting responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and reporting on progress towards the achievement of Strategic Plan goals
  • Facilitating the collection, analysis and reporting of performance data
  • Maintaining Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and post-award report components of OICR’s grants management system
  • Supporting the development of reports for Executive, the Board of Directors and the Ministry
  • Providing direct support for special projects within the Strategic Planning and Performance Department

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Statistics, Life Sciences, Data Science or related field, or recognized equivalent
  • Strong data analysis and visualization skills
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Must be able to work independently to meet demanding timelines
  • Highly effective interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Demonstrated ability in project planning and management
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
