About the role
- DevOps Engineer ensuring scalability and reliability for esports database systems. Collaborating with international developers and maintain deployment pipelines in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement reliability improvements to our existing systems
- Maintain and optimize our Docker-based deployment workflows on GitHub and AWS
- Manage our SQL databases (mainly MySQL) to ensure data integrity and high availability for our clients
- Act as the DevOps link between GameScorekeeper’s Aarhus-based team and the Oddin.gg infrastructure team
- Participate in a rotation to ensure our 24/7 mission-critical data feeds remain operational
Requirements
- At least 2-3 years of professional experience in a DevOps role or equivalent
- Strong proficiency with Docker, AWS, GitHub, SQL, and to some extent Java
- Fluent in English; you’re comfortable discussing complex infrastructure with both local developers and international stakeholders
- You are able to identify potential issues and implement solutions to improve system reliability and scalability
