Cloud Security Solution Manager managing client relationships and projects related to Microsoft cloud technologies. Engaging clients, designing cloud security architectures, and ensuring project delivery in Austria and Germany.
Responsibilities
Engage with clients, respond to their needs, and coordinate projects with technical expertise.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to understand their business objectives and technical requirements related to Microsoft cloud technologies.
Respond to RFPs and develop and present compelling business proposals tailored to client needs.
Design and recommend cloud security architectures and strategies.
Maintain active communication with clients after proposal submission to address questions and adapt strategies as needed.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to plan and execute projects aligned with technical and business objectives.
Serve as the Functional Manager, providing guidance, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement, and managing goals & objectives as well as annual reviews of direct reports.
Requirements
You hold citizenship of one of the 32 NATO member states or Austrian citizenship.
5+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales or similar role, managing teams within information technology and business relationships.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft cloud solutions, including Azure infrastructure, Microsoft 365 services, the Microsoft Defender suite, and Purview data governance tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.
The position requires approximately 30% business-related travel, mostly within Germany and occasionally to other European countries.
Demonstrated experience managing projects from concept to completion, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proven ability to develop and maintain trusted relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders.
Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are considered a plus.
