About the role
- Design and implement the Company Software Defined Network product while providing operational support and expert-level technical advice. Collaborate across teams for effective solution delivery in a 24x7 operations environment.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for design, implementation, operational support of Company Software Defined Network product
- Provides expert-level technical advice and support for real time analysis, design, testing, and operations of software defined networks
- Tests and turns up new uCPE and Wireless Backup circuits in a production environment
- Collaborates with customer, Development and Strategic Engineering, and SDN Service platform vendor during in-depth troubleshooting
- Opens and updates service tickets in database/tracking system
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 7-10 years Relevant Work Experience
- Experience with Internet Protocol (IP) routing and switching fundamentals
- Knowledge of Network Function Virtualization (VNF) concepts and strategies
- Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
