Responsibilities
- Responsible for full lifecycle management, maintenance, and sustainment of the Agency’s enterprise databases
- Expert database administration for Oracle (19c or higher) and Microsoft SQL (2014 or higher)
- Monitor, optimize, tune database performance, operations, and SQL code
- Provide support during core business hours and on-call support for incidents
- Manage the complete data lifecycle and administer all database objects
- Plan and implement robust database security measures
- Support application upgrades and maintain database tools
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards
Requirements
- Government IT Contracting experience
- At least five (5) years of current experience in database administration (Oracle and Microsoft SQL)
- A minimum bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or Oracle 19c (or above) certification and MCSA: SQL Server Administrator certification
