About the role
- Assistente contábil/fiscal handling invoicing, tax calculations, and compliance documents for Morais de Castro's chemical sector. Ensuring legal obligations and supporting internal clients.
Responsibilities
- Posting and verification of tax invoices (purchases, sales, returns, consignments/shipments, and imports);
- Issuance of billing/invoicing and other revenue documents;
- Determination and calculation of taxes, such as ISS (own, third parties, substitute and freight), ICMS, PIS, COFINS, CSLL and IRRF;
- Preparation and submission of tax filings and ancillary obligations, such as DCTF, ECF, DIRF, SPED Fiscal, GIA, SINTEGRA, DMA and FCI;
- Inventory control and closing, import cost accounting, and CIAP (ICMS Permanent Asset Credit Control);
- Monitoring and regularization of tax matters;
- Monitoring and verification of documents in the Arquivei system;
- Internal client support and assistance to the commercial/sales team, clarifying questions about invoice issuance and tax processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (in progress or completed)
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Experience in the role
- Experience with the Protheus ERP system is a plus
