Senior Financial Operations Analyst ensuring efficient daily operations for a financial payment institution. Involving compliance with regulations and operational supervision within Brazilian payment systems.
Responsibilities
Monitor the Settlement Account and accounts held in clearing and settlement chambers;
Supervise daily financial movements, ensuring correct execution of processes within the operational windows established by the Central Bank of Brazil;
Execute opening and/or closing procedures for the operator booths, according to schedule and internal protocols;
Ensure compliance with rules and guidelines of the Central Bank of Brazil;
Validate and certify systems related to messaging of the National Financial System (SFN), especially SPB (Brazilian Payment System) and SPI (Instant Payments System);
Execute and test operational contingency procedures (e.g., SPB offline);
Prepare operational and management reports to support executive decision-making;
Support related areas such as risk, back office, reconciliation, and accounting;
Participate in continuous improvement projects, contributing technical and operational insight;
Maintain technical relationships with regulators and financial partners;
Other routine duties within the area.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Financial Management, or related fields;
Previous experience in financial operations focused on SPB/SPI and/or as a Reserve Pilot (Piloto de Reservas);
Solid knowledge of financial messaging and operation of the Brazilian Payment System (SPB);
Experience in Payment Institutions or Electronic Money Issuers is desirable;
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office;
Familiarity with Power BI or other data analysis and consolidation tools;
Proactive, analytical profile with strong communication skills;
Flexibility to work both opening and closing STR operations.
