About the role

• Software Engineer developing full stack applications using Python and React at Metasite. Collaborating with autonomous teams on bespoke digital platforms and applications.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining backend services using Python and frontend features with React;
• Designing and managing database schemas;
• Writing and maintaining functionality tests;
• Supporting CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure;
• Working with Docker containers and AWS infrastructure;
• Proposing UI/UX solutions when dedicated design resources are unavailable;
• Communicating with internal teams and project stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering
• Proficiency in Python (Flask) and experience with React/TypeScript
• Working knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and AWS cloud services
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of UI/UX principles to deliver clean and functional interfaces
• Strong communication skills with a proactive mindset, knows when to dig in and when to reach out
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
• Verbal and written fluency in English.
