About the role

Responsibilities
- Participate in the development, deployment, and maintenance of energy management systems within SCADA environments in mission-critical settings
- Design and implement supervision, control, and energy management systems and solutions for data centers
- Configure, parameterize, and commission electronic equipment and supervision, control, and energy management systems
- Interpret electrical drawings and communication architectures
- Interface with employees of partner companies, commissioning agents, and external clients during commissioning and daily field activities
- Analyze, review, and critique clients' technical specifications
- Configure servers, software, and components of supervisory systems
- Analyze and evaluate solution architectures to ensure the best cost-benefit ratio
- Propose and develop HMI/screens with schematic representations compatible with client installations
- Prepare documentation for updates, improvements, fixes, hotfixes, and maintenance of implemented systems
- Analyze, investigate, and help resolve bugs and/or issues in implemented systems
- Be available, according to a pre-established schedule, to provide 24/7 emergency support
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, Software Engineering, conventional Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience with Ignition software and related technologies
- Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar languages
- Familiarity with SQL databases and data visualization tools
- Previous experience in manufacturing or controls
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Experience in industrial automation or manufacturing environments is a plus
- SQL administration experience
- Experience with network connectivity (TCP/IP, SD-WAN)
- Development and deployment of supervisory systems (SCADA)
- Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Python
- Availability for domestic and international travel up to 30% annually
