About the role

  • Leading Product Design at Memed, overseeing a team to develop impactful user experiences. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to align design strategy with business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop designers (Product Designers and Graphic Designers)
  • Conduct 1:1s, feedback sessions and performance cycles
  • Support career development and the technical growth of the team
  • Organize the allocation of designers across squads and business demands
  • Build and evolve the Product Design strategy aligned with company objectives
  • Ensure consistency of the experience across the entire user journey
  • Work with Product and Engineering on initiative prioritization
  • Ensure a high level of quality in UX, UI and visual communication
  • Support the team in complex design decisions and challenges
  • Promote best practices in discovery, prototyping and validation
  • Ensure quality and consistency in visual assets (campaigns, banners, emails, commercial materials, etc.)
  • Connect branding and product, ensuring coherence between experience and communication
  • Support marketing and business area requests efficiently and with visual standards
  • Encourage data-informed decisions and user behavior-driven thinking
  • Structure and strengthen research and testing practices
  • Promote fast learning cycles and continuous improvement
  • Work closely with PMs, Engineering, Marketing and stakeholders
  • Influence strategic decisions based on user experience
  • Act as a bridge between design, product and business
  • Ensure the evolution and adoption of the Design System
  • Define standards, processes and best practices
  • Scale visual and interaction consistency

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Product Design (UX/UI)
  • Experience leading design teams (product and/or graphic)
  • Background in technology companies or digital environments
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary squads
  • Proficiency in UX, UI, usability and information architecture
  • Experience with discovery, research and user testing
  • Strong proficiency in Figma (or similar tools)
  • Experience with Design Systems
  • Experience with graphic design and visual communication
  • Strategic mindset with a business perspective
  • Good communication and influencing skills
  • Hands-on profile (when needed)
  • Organized and able to prioritize in dynamic environments
