About the role

Responsibilities
- Provide technical/troubleshooting assistance in resolving electrical design, operation and maintenance problems.
- Manage the refinery’s electrical equipment preventative and predictive maintenance program.
- Develop and execute plans, programs, and processes to maintain electrical equipment and systems across their lifecycle.
- Provide technical expertise and lead investigations to solve recurring electrical equipment failures, reliability threats, and/or performance issues.
- Communicate with personnel from different disciplines and grade levels, along with outside resources to obtain needed information or resolve issues.
- Maintain and manage the plant’s electrical model utilizing ETAP software.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution required
- Minimum 2 years of post-degree relevant experience required with refining or petrochemical industry preferred
- A valid driver's license is required
- Routine travel between Mandan and Dickinson is required
- Must be able to physically perform the essential job functions including, but not limited to, wearing all required PPE, working at elevated heights, confined space entry, fall protection, and respirator usage.
- Must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without the need for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
