About the role

Responsibilities
- Architect & Build: Define and evolve the technical architecture across our platforms.
- Design, build, and optimize backend solutions (AWS Lambda, REST APIs, GraphQL), integrations (AWS, Azure, HubSpot, Dynamics), and scalable cloud systems.
- Stay 80% hands-on through coding, architecture reviews, PoCs, and problem-solving.
- Lead a cross-functional development team through mentoring, coaching, and architectural guidance.
- Drive engineering best practices in clean code, testing, automation, performance, DevOps, and documentation.
- Translate technical concepts into clear business insights — and business needs into actionable technical plans.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and leadership teams to align tech capabilities with business strategy.
- Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability through modern DevOps tooling (CI/CD, Docker, automation).
Requirements
- 7+ years in software development with deep expertise in backend, frontend, and cloud.
- Strong experience in designing distributed systems, integrations, APIs, cloud architectures, and scalable applications.
- Hands-On Technical Depth: Comfortable with backend, frontend, cloud, and integrations.
- Experience leading teams, guiding developers, and shaping engineering processes.
- Ability to understand business goals and translate them into technical strategies.
- Clear Communication: You make complex topics simple and connect teams through clarity and structure.
- Collaboration DNA: You build trust, listen, and elevate others.
- Exposure to HubSpot, SendGrid, or similar systems is a plus.
