Senior Benefits Analyst at MAHLE responsible for health and welfare benefit plans administration. Supporting HR teams and managing employee inquiries related to benefits programs.
Responsibilities
Design and administer health and welfare benefit plans
Manage inquiries related to benefits; research issues and provide resolutions
Identify patterns of problems; improve processes and communication surrounding the program
Support vendor searches, comparisons and evaluations
Act as a SAP key business user for the benefit info types
Create and analyze benefit program reports
Work closely with HRIS on benefit program set up and data
Propose and implement health and welfare programs
Manage the annual open enrollment process
Communicate plan changes to colleagues and employees
Monitor cost development of plans and research high cost scenarios
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited four-year college or university, or equivalent related experience
7+ years previous or related experience
Strong business acumen and the ability to influence and develop strong working relationships
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation delivery
Must have broad, basic understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws
Advanced computer skills, especially in MS Office, particularly Excel
HRIS experience is required, SAP experience preferred
Excellent analytical, quantitative and qualitative skills
Prior background in human resources consulting or insurance is desirable
CEBS, PHR, or SHRM-CP certification preferred
