Responsibilities
Manage the technical and operational oversight of external law firms, acting directly on strategic cases and matters with high financial or reputational impact.
Draft and review legal arguments and theses, focused on significant cases, high-value matters, or those with elevated risk potential.
Identify financial risks, assess the legal viability of arguments, and define defense strategies based on detailed case information.
Monitor up-to-date case law and changes in labor legislation, applying this knowledge to case handling and strategy review.
Use legal information systems and jurimetrics tools for predictive analysis, portfolio management, and decision support.
Support continuous portfolio review, proposing measures to reduce the case backlog, decrease provisions, and improve legal outcomes.
Evaluate loss forecasts, ensuring appropriate risk classification and correct accounting for contingencies.
Act preventively, anticipating contingencies and recommending actions that mitigate the risk of new legal claims.
Contribute to internal training and to the technical updating of the legal team and partner areas.
Prepare periodic reports and executive analyses for Management and other business areas, translating portfolio data into actionable insights and indicators.
Requirements
Law degree with active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
Solid knowledge of Labor/Employment Law, with excellent command of applicable legislation and case law.
Strong analytical and argumentative skills and an investigative mindset.
Organized, with a sense of priorities, proactive, and focused on practical, executable solutions.
Postgraduate degree or specialization in Labor/Employment Law.
Prior experience as a corporate labor attorney, preferably in litigation for a medium or large company.
Experience with data analysis and jurimetrics tools applied to labor litigation.
Experience using Copilot or other AI tools applied to legal routines, supporting the drafting of pleadings, analyses, and reports.
Participation in initiatives to reduce and reorganize litigation portfolios.
