About the role

Responsibilities
- Actively participate in defining, designing, and implementing a modern data platform, including data ingestion, processing, storage, modeling, and analytical consumption.
- Promote a data-driven culture across the organization, ensuring compliance with established data management and governance processes.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT), ensuring reliable integration of data from core systems and satellite applications.
- Model data in data warehouses, data lakes, and analytical layers, ensuring quality, consistency, and performance.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and traceability by identifying anomalies and proposing structural improvements.
- Translate business needs into data models, metrics, and actionable analyses.
- Create exploratory analyses, reports, and dashboards to support activity monitoring and decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with IT teams, business stakeholders, and external partners, serving as a bridge between technical and functional areas.
- Document data models, data flows, and associated business rules to promote clarity and reusability.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience in data engineering and data analysis, with hands-on technical experience.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL Server, and data modeling.
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data integration.
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools, preferably Power BI (data modeling, DAX, and reporting best practices).
- Ability to understand business processes and translate business questions into analyses and metrics.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Critical thinking, autonomy, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Experience with cloud-based data projects (e.g., Azure or AWS).
- Experience in financial or regulated environments.
- Knowledge of programming languages used for analytics (e.g., Python).
