About the role
- Tech Lead for Risk and Finance Reporting at Luminor, focusing on data technologies and solutions. Leading strategies for risk and finance reporting with a strong emphasis on data governance and team mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Risk and Finance Reporting Tech Strategy and develop the vision for risk and finance reporting solutions
- Design and implement Data Mesh framework ensuring data is treated as a product
- Oversee architecture of data pipelines, lakes, warehouses, ensuring scalability, performance, and security
- Mentor and grow a team of data engineers and specialists fostering a collaborative environment
- Ensure integration of various data sources into the data platform using modern ETL/ELT frameworks
- Leverage cloud technologies to manage and scale Risk and Finance Reporting products
- Implement data governance policies ensuring data quality and compliance with regulations
Requirements
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in data engineering or data platform management
- Proven experience leading data platform architecture in cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong expertise in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
- Strong commercial experience with Python and Django
- Solid understanding of data governance, security best practices, and compliance standards
- Fluent in English in communication due to Pan-Baltic operations
