Responsibilities
- Oversee a team of engineers throughout all project phases.
- Ensure quality and timely delivery of roadway design projects for DOT and local agencies.
- Promote teamwork, mentorship of junior staff, and managing client relationships.
- Serve as a project manager for INDOT and local agency roadway design projects.
- Perform quality checks on work performed by project team members.
- Maintain and enhance client relationships, ensuring service and communication satisfaction.
- Collaborate with senior management on strategic planning and business development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE).
- Typically requires 10+ years of progressive experience in Roadway Design Engineering; experience on INDOT roadway projects is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain and enhance client relationships.
- Experience with project management and accounting software.
- Exceptional organization skills.
- Proficiency with relevant engineering software and tools for design, project management, and analysis.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including: Teams, Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid Driver's License
