About the role
- Senior Data Science Analyst at Dotz developing predictive models for credit management. Responsible for validating and monitoring statistical models and evaluating financial impacts.
Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, validate and monitor statistical models to forecast credit risk, voluntary recovery of delinquent customers (self-cure), progression along the collections workflow (Collections Score), or propensity to accept product offers.
- Identify and evaluate new information sources (macroeconomic time series, news feeds, interactions with mobile devices and digital channels, customer service voice data, etc.).
- Research and assess new systemic and analytical solutions for the development, parameterization and monitoring of predictive models.
- Perform backtests, validations and customizations of scores and attributes provided by credit bureaus (credit scores, restrictions, positive credit registers and open finance data).
- Conduct feasibility studies and impact analyses of credit initiatives based on credit performance and portfolio profitability.
Requirements
- Experience developing predictive models for credit origination and maintenance, debt recovery or propensity to accept offers/contract products.
- Experience with programming languages (Python, SQL, SAS).
- Experience conducting feasibility studies and financial impact analyses of initiatives, policies and strategies.
- Preferred knowledge of advanced predictive modeling techniques (Machine Learning, Deep Learning).
- Preferred experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS or GCP).
- Preferred knowledge of the dynamics of financial products (revolving credit, installment products and insurance).
