About the role

Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Engineering, Product, and FP&A to proactively identify, evaluate, and validate capitalizable internal-use software costs
- Own and maintain comprehensive internal-use software capitalization schedules
- Prepare and record monthly software amortization entries
- Ensure complete, accurate, and audit-ready documentation supporting capitalized software costs
- Perform monthly accounting close activities
- Assist Sr. Accounting Manager in reviewing other team members’ accruals and reconciliations
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during the annual financial audit
- Support preparation and documentation of technical accounting memos in compliance with US GAAP
- Assist the company's quarterly and annual income tax provision under ASC 740
- Help maintain and strengthen internal controls over accounting processes and reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data in a complicated entity structure
- Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and FASB codification and pronouncements
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles, ASC 606/IFRS 15, and related guidance.
- ERP System experience with NetSuite is a plus
- Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills (such as pivot tables, vlookup, and data analysis)
