Responsibilities
Functional and disciplinary leadership and further development of the accounting and controlling team
Responsibility for group accounting and preparation of the consolidated financial statements according to the German Commercial Code (HGB)
Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements for the individual entities
Responsibility for planning, forecasting, and reporting
Financial and liquidity management
Process optimization and digitalization
Advising management on all financial and tax-related matters
Primary point of contact for banks, tax advisors, and auditors
Requirements
Degree in business administration with a focus on finance and accounting, or commercial vocational training; ideally supplemented by qualification as a certified balance sheet accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter)
Several years of professional experience in the preparation of annual and/or consolidated financial statements under HGB and tax law—ideally in the non-profit sector
Confident use of common accounting software and Microsoft 365 (especially Word and Excel)
Structured, analytical, and independent working style
Good communication and collaboration skills
