About the role
- Manager overseeing financial reporting and compliance for IPO at AI cloud infrastructure company. Leading financial statement preparation and regulatory adherence while ensuring GAAP compliance.
Responsibilities
- Support preparation and review of the S-1, including financial statements, MD&A, and footnotes in line with SEC and U.S. GAAP requirements
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP and future SEC reporting requirements (10-K, 10-Q)
- Draft and maintain technical accounting memos to support audits and SEC review
- Provide guidance to team members on technical accounting topics
- Support SOX 404(a) readiness by improving documentation and key controls over financial reporting
Requirements
- 7+ years of accounting experience, including strong exposure to technical accounting and financial reporting
- Active CPA license
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience researching technical issues
- Experience at a Big 4 firm and/or high-growth technology company
- Proficient in accounting systems (NetSuite preferred) and Excel
